The hormones estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, and DHEA can be compounded to meet your patient’s individual needs.  Hormones can be compounded as oral tablets, sublingual tablets, and creams, as well as other dosage forms.  We can combine multiple hormones in one dosage form.  Belmar can provide you with prescribing templates to ease the writing of compounded hormone prescriptions.  Belmar also compounds several medications used in vaginal health and sexual dysfunction.  

The term "Bio-Identical” means that the hormone has the same molecular structure as the hormone made by the human body (ovaries or adrenal gland), and is chemically and functionally the same.  Pharmacists prepare the compounded prescriptions from scratch using plant-derived natural ingredients from FDA approved sources.
